Privacy
policy
This policy explains how ADEPSIA collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit the adepsia.fr website or sign up for our waiting list. It is drafted in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
1. Who is the data controller
The controller of the personal data collected on adepsia.fr is:
Adrien Savoyat
Contact e-mail address: contact@adepsia.fr
ADEPSIA is currently in the pre-launch phase. No commercial transactions are taking place on the site at this stage.
2. What data is collected
We only collect data that is strictly necessary for our relationship with you.
When you sign up for the launch waitlist via the product page form, the preview window, or the site footer, we collect:
- your email address
- your registration date
- the source of your registration (product page, preview window, footer), solely for internal statistical purposes
When browsing the site, technical cookies may be placed on your device (see section 7).
We do not collect any other data: no name, no phone number, no postal address, no banking information.
3. What your data is used for
Your data is used solely for:
- inform you in advance of the launch of Le Baume ADEPSIA
- send you, about once a month, an editorial newsletter on the project's progress, the materials, and the brand's spirit
- measure, in an aggregate and anonymous manner, the performance of our site (for example: how many people signed up from the product page this month)
We do not carry out any automated profiling or automated decision-making regarding you.
4. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis is your explicit consent, given when you registered via the form. This consent may be withdrawn at any time by unsubscribing (see section 9).
5. Who has access to your data
Your data is accessible to:
- Adrien Savoyat, founder of ADEPSIA
- Klaviyo, Inc., our email service provider, a company based in Boston, USA. Klaviyo hosts our contact lists and handles the delivery of our communications. In this capacity, your data may be transferred outside the European Union based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can consult Klaviyo's privacy policy on their official website.
- Shopify International Limited, our host and e-commerce service provider, a company established in Dublin, Ireland. Shopify hosts the site, processes orders and payments, and is subject to the GDPR.
- Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity), only if you have accepted audience measurement cookies: pseudonymized browsing data (see section 7).
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes.
6. Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as you are subscribed to our waiting list, and for up to one year after you unsubscribe for technical archiving purposes.
At any time, you may request the immediate deletion of all your data (see section 9).
7. Cookies
The adepsia.fr website uses two types of cookies: technical cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the site (exempt from consent) and, only if you accept them, audience measurement cookies.
Technical cookies (always active):
- adepsia_subscribed : indicates that you are subscribed to the waiting list, so that registration forms are no longer shown to you. Duration: 1 year.
- adepsia_popup_seen : indicates that the preview window has already been shown to you, so it will not be displayed again. Duration: 7 days.
- _shopify_essential, cart, localization, and cart_currency: cookies placed by Shopify to make the site function, remember your cart, your language and your currency, and secure the checkout process.
- _tracking_consent : stores your choice (acceptance or refusal) regarding audience measurement cookies, so that you are not prompted with the banner on every visit.
Audience measurement cookies (subject to your consent):
If you click "Accept" in the banner displayed during your first visit, we use Microsoft Clarity, published by Microsoft Corporation, to understand how the site is used: clicks, scrolling, and page navigation, in a pseudonymized manner. No banking data or form fields are recorded. The cookies placed for this purpose are _clck (13 months) and _clsk (1 day), as well as technical cookies associated with the Microsoft service. This data may be transferred outside the European Union, based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If you click "Decline," no audience measurement cookies are placed, and the site functions normally.
You can change your choice at any time by deleting the site's cookies via your browser settings: the banner will be displayed again during your next visit. Deleting these cookies does not affect your subscription to our list in any way: to unsubscribe from the list, see section 9.
8. Data security
Your data is protected by:
- an encrypted HTTPS connection across the entire site
- storage of contact lists in Klaviyo, governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses
- a PCI DSS Level 1 certified commerce infrastructure for payment processing, operated by Shopify, with no banking data stored by ADEPSIA
As no system is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we implement recognised industry standards.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data at any time:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure: request the deletion of all your data.
- Right to data portability: retrieve your data in a readable format.
- Right to object : object to certain processing.
- Right to restriction: restrict the use of your data.
To exercise one of these rights, there are two options:
- To unsubscribe from the waiting list: click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email we send you. Unsubscription is immediate.
- For any other request (access, complete deletion, etc.): send an email to contact@adepsia.fr specifying your request. We will respond within a maximum of 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés), the French supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site, the services offered, or applicable regulations. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this page. In the event of a significant change, we will notify you by email.
For any questions regarding this policy or the processing of your data, please do not hesitate to write to us at contact@adepsia.fr.
