The course

From the skin experience to the creation of ADEPSIA.

At the heart of ADEPSIA lies a personal quest: to find a simpler routine after trying countless products and experiencing periods of dry, tight, and reactive skin.

Discovering beef tallow leads Adrien to explore the fats traditionally used in skincare, their composition and how they are processed into cosmetic raw materials. He founds ADEPSIA to develop a tallow balm with a concise formula, made in France.

This experience becomes the starting point for broader work on the choice of raw materials, how to apply skincare and the craft of ancestral cosmetics.

The application guide

From research to product

Development work with a laboratory in Normandy.

Adrien is leading the ADEPSIA project and working with a French laboratory located in Normandy to develop Le Baume Édition Logos. This collaboration combines his vision of an ancestral skincare product with a short ingredient list and the laboratory’s formulation expertise.

Le Baume is formulated and made in France. It combines purified tallow, jojoba oil, beeswax and essential oils in a whipped, Chantilly-like texture. ADEPSIA also works with a French glassmaker for its amber glass jar.
